HYLTON RENAULT LENDS A HELPING HAND TO MOTABILITY CUSTOMERS
Renault dealer Hylton Worcester is celebrating its Motability Open Day by giving away £250 in shopping vouchers to one lucky motorist!
Anyone who attends the Motability Open Day on Monday, 22nd February will be entered into a free prize draw to win the vouchers redeemable at Marks & Spencer.
The event is being held at the Bromyard Road dealership to help raise awareness of the Motability scheme which helps people with mobility problems fund all or part of the cost of a new car.
“The Motability scheme is open to people who receive the higher rate mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance or War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement, with at least 12 months’ length remaining,” explains Paul Allford, one of three dedicated Motability Specialists along with Will Thompson and Jim Hooper.
“Anyone who qualifies, which in Worcester is more than 2,000 people, can transfer this allowance to pay for the monthly lease of a new Renault car,” adds Will. “They can even nominate a friend or family member to drive on their behalf. Right now we’re also offering nil advance deposit on many of the Renault range!
“During the day, we will be able to guide people through the scheme and demonstrate the wide range of Renault cars – such as the New Kangoo or New Scénic – which are available through the scheme including many that can be specially adapted to offer easy wheelchair access.”
Jim Hooper added: “We’re encouraging anyone who thinks they may qualify to come along to the dealership and talk to us as they may actually be entitled to a brand new car and even win £250 in shopping vouchers!”
Hylton Worcester’s Motability Open Day is open to all and for more information call the dealership’s customer services line on 01905 821728.
AWARD-WINNING RENAULTSPORT RANGE RACES INTO HYLTON RENAULT
Renaultsport’s award-winning range of hot hatches are now available to order from Hylton Renault.
The impressive line-up boasts three models: New Mégane Renaultsport 250, Clio Renaultsport 200 and the Twingo Renaultsport 133.
All three have been awarded ‘Best Hot Hatch’ in each of their respective price categories at this year’s What Car? Awards with the Mégane 250 also crowned overall ‘Hot Hatch of the Year 2010’. What’s more, Renaultsport was recently presented with Top Gear Magazine’s prestigious ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ award.
Priced from only £22,467, New Mégane Renaultsport 250 is available in a choice of two distinct versions – Cup and Standard – both powered by a new generation 2.0-litre 16V Turbo engine developing 250hp. This powers the Mégane 250 to 62mph in just 6.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 156mph!

Added to this are two new specific features: Renaultsport Dynamic Management and Renaultsport Monitor. The first enables one of three modes for the ESC to be selected: 'On', 'Sport' and 'Off' while Renaultsport Monitor relays specific information to the driver such as 0-60mph acceleration, G-Force and even lap times.
Meanwhile the Clio Renaultsport 200 continues to punch well above its weight in every performance car of the year test. Available in 200 Cup or 200 versions, the road car is based very closely on the highly-successful Clio Cup racer.
The feisty Twingo Renaultsport 133 offers an entry-level into the passion of Renaultsport. With diminutive size and weight, the 133hp naturally-aspirated engine provides plenty of thrills. The range comprises the 133 Cup, 133 and, in April, the introduction of the Twingo Gordini Renaultsport - a fresh take on the famous design cues long associated with the Gordini name.

GET A LITTLE CLOSER TO HYLTON NISSAN
Hylton Nissan will be under the microscope from the 19th to 21st February as Close Up: A Weekend Designed by Nissan, takes place at the dealership. The event is a celebration of the Nissan design ethic manifested in the latest QASHQAI and Cube models.
Hylton Nissan is inviting customers to come to the Manor Road dealership and view the two stunning new models ‘in-the-metal’, whilst a dedicated design area will allow guests to get an insight into the attitudes, inspirations and processes involved in Nissan’s famously innovative and forward-thinking design ethos through audio-visual displays.
The new models capture the essence of Nissan design perfectly; the Cube is undoubtedly one of the most iconic automotive designs to emerge in recent years. Cute and quirky, the Cube was named as one of the top 50 cars that changed the world by the London Design Museum.
The innovation continues through to the Cube’s interior design, which offers a lounge-style space for five with a clever, inspired and surprisingly open occupant space with a ‘Jacuzzi Curve’ layout offering a space for relaxing and travelling in style.
Refinement is the watch-word for the revised 2010 QASHQAI. Built at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, the most notable visual change to the QASHQAI is at the front, where a complete makeover has taken place. All new bonnet, front bumper, wings, grille and headlamps combine to give the QASHQAI an air of premium sophistication, presence and quality. The new front-end design is shared with QASHQAI+2.
What’s more, all visitors to the event will be entered into a national prize draw to win a trip to Japan to live and breathe the thriving metropolis that inspires much of Nissan’s design culture and philosophy. The prize includes return Premium Economy tickets to Tokyo, seven nights stay at the Park Hotel, Tokyo, £1,000 spending money and a Samsung HD flash camcorder to record the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
In addition, one visitor to Hylton Nissan in Cheltenham, will win £250 in vouchers to spend at design-orientated store Habitat.
Garry Milward, General Manager at Hylton Nissan said: “The close-up weekend is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Nissan’s new models, speak to our customers about the Nissan design ethos, and for them to get an insight into how Nissan’s pioneering designs come to life.”

CUBE ARRIVES AT HYLTON NISSAN
Hylton Nissan on Manor Road is celebrating the arrival of the stylish, new, Cube, which boasts a unique design concept.
Named by the London Design Museum as one of the 50 cars that changed the world, the cult urban car is set to impress. Cute, quirky and perfectly formed, Cube offers iconic angular design different to any other model.
The new Cube is now available from Hylton Nissan in Cheltenham for those looking for a superbly equipped car that offers a premium package without the baggage.

The interior offers a lounge-style space for five with a clever, inspired and surprisingly open occupant space with a ‘Jacuzzi Curve’ layout offering a space for relaxing and travelling in style.
The curve-themed interior design is characterised by the subtle wavy shaping of the instrument panel, door panels, seat shapes, and the iconic ‘Water Drop’ that can be seen in the cupholders and the climate control design. They are inspired by nature and the calming way that ripples move outward from a drop in water.
A large triple-layered glass roof is fitted as standard, giving a light and airy atmosphere throughout the cabin. As well as the traditional blind to prevent heat build up on sunny days, there is a shoji shade, inspired by traditional Japanese shades made of rice paper which can be drawn across the sunroof, allowing light to enter but minimising heat build up.
The Cube is designed to be the perfect urban transporter which is available in two grades starting at £14,000. Each version provides a template for drivers to create their own, customised Cube using a range of accessories and tattoos.
In addition, to celebrate the Cubes arrival, the first 100 examples sold will all be ‘LDN’ special editions, finished in a unique Bitter Chocolate colour with matching velour interior trim. Priced from £14,600, the LDN also comes with climate control, rain sensing wipers and auto headlamps as standard. The Cube is set to remain a cult phenomenon in its first year as only around 2,000 will find their way to the UK.
The standard Cube includes the glass roof, rear privacy glass and Bluetooth and cruise control. The Kaizen model is available from £15,100 and in addition includes the Nissan Connect audio and navigation system, a rear parking camera and full climate control to the lengthy standard equipment list.
The engine range is just as simple. Providing the perfect partner for every Cube buyer, Nissan’s 1.6-litre 108bhp petrol engine gives the Cube emissions as low as 151g/km and combined fuel economy as high as 42.8mpg. The only decision is whether to choose the sharp-shifting manual transmission or opt for Nissan’s advanced CVT. Anyone looking to minimise running costs over a higher mileage should look out for a frugal 1.5-litre diesel engine joining the Cube range in May.
Garry Milward, General Manager at Hylton Nissan, said: “We’re delighted to stock the hugely anticipated Cube, it meets design and functionality and we’re sure it’ll be a hit with our customers.”

TRADE-IN DEAL EXTENDED AT HYLTON NISSAN
The Scrappage Scheme has been thrown a lifeline, and Nissan’s British Built Trade-in Scheme lives on too!
Buyers in Cheltenham who thought they had missed out on the £2,000 Scrappage discount have been given another chance to take advantage of the scheme following news that the Government has extended the incentive to include an additional 100,000 cars. However, the Government Scrappage Scheme still of no use to owners of cars less than 10 years old.
That’s where Hylton Nissan’s British Built Trade-in Scheme comes in, guaranteeing a £2,000 minimum trade-in against any new British built Nissan for trade in vehicles aged 8-10 years old.
New Nissans eligible for the deal include any car built at Nissan’s Sunderland Plant, giving buyers the choice of any new Micra, Note, Qashqai or Qashqai+2. This means drivers of vehicles aged eight years old or more can take delivery of an ultra-efficient Micra supermini for only £6,395*.
Combined with the Government’s extended Scrappage Scheme, Nissan’s British Built Trade-in Scheme aims to sustain the uplift in sales enjoyed in recent months. Garry Milward, General Manager at Hylton Nissan on Manor Road, said: “We are delighted that the scheme has been extended and look forward to welcoming customers to the dealership to take advantage of these fantastic offers.
“There’s no doubt the Scrappage Scheme along with our own British Built Trade-in Scheme has given, and will continue to give, the UK car industry a boost. We’re delighted that both incentives can carry on.”

All of the staff at the Bromyard Road dealership donned at least one item of pink clothing, including t-shirts and pink wigs, in return for making a donation to the cancer charity. As well as donations from the staff, customers visiting the dealership also made contributions helping to raise more than £100.
